## Description

TapVow is positioned between agents and external providers and verifies expenses before sending a request. Multiple agents can use one budget, and additional restrictions are set for individual calls.

The user signs a permission document specifying the budget, operation limit, permissible recipients, and validity period. A request exceeding these conditions is blocked before sending. The gateway supports OpenAI and Anthropic interfaces, as well as clients compatible with the OpenAI API.

Each operation and rejection are recorded in a log with digital signatures and a chain of hashes. Log verification helps detect changes in records. According to the developer, funds remain in the user's wallet or account, and TapVow does not store them.

The project is in an early stage: tests for x402 are described on the website in the Base Sepolia test network and tests with provider simulation. These results do not confirm payment functionality in the main network; published implementation limitations must be considered before use.
